The 40V max XGT® Brushless 10″ Telescoping Pole Saw (GAU02) easily adjusts from 9-ft. to 13-ft. in length to allow the user to reach higher and trim branches with ease. The Makita-built brushless motor delivers the power of a 35cc gas pole saw. The 40V max XGT® delivers up to 150 cuts in 4×4 cedar on a single charge of an XGT® 4.0Ah battery, allowing the user to cut and trim for longer periods of time.

The Pole Saw has convenience features that include a lateral chain tensioner with a single stud for efficient chain retention and a captured bar nut that is retained in the sprocket cover for easier setup and maintenance. There is also a translucent bar oil tank with a large opening that aids in adding oil and keeping the bar properly lubricated. Additional features include Active Feedback-Sensing Technology (AFT®), which electronically turns off the motor if the rotation of the attachment is suddenly forced to stop.

Durability features include Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) for improved dust and water resistance, and IPX4 weather-resistant construction.
